What is Fusion – formerly Fusion 360?

AUTOSESK Fusion combines design, development, electronics and production on a central software platform.

In other words, a cloud-based software platform for modeling, CAD, CAM, CAE and PCBs in 3D for product design and manufacturing.

• Design and develop products according to your specifications for aesthetics, form, fit and function.
• Reduce the impact of changes in design, development and PCBs and rely on manufacturability with simulation tools and generative design.
• Edit existing objects or model installations directly with the only fully integrated CAD/CAM software.

This Basic Training Fusion from WESTCAM comprises the first module of a total of three modules:

• Module 1 teaches you the basic structure of Fusion (user interface) and the basics of design (sketch, component) through to drawing derivation

Drawing derivations (views, dimensioning, labeling)

User interface

Fusion Team / Data management

2D design (sketch creation)

Sketch definition (dimensioning, dependencies)

Creating basic bodies (rotation, extrusion)

Editing basic bodies or 2D sketches

Placed elements (holes, threads, rounding, chamfer, etc.)
