Many of our Austrian customers have been manufacturing at Hungarian sites for years, and Hungary has developed into one of the most important industrial hubs in Central and Eastern Europe in recent years. So it made sense for us to establish a presence where our customers are actually producing.
At our new location, we offer consulting, implementation, training, post-processors, project management, and technical support in Hungarian. This gives our customers a local point of contact who understands their needs and can respond quickly—right in the heart of Budapest.

Why hyperMILL
At the heart of our operations is hyperMILLfrom OPEN MIND Technologies. This CAD/CAM system covers virtually everything needed in modern manufacturing: 2D and 3D machining, simultaneous 5-axis machining, multi-channel turning, and wire EDM. Thanks to automated programming, intelligent toolpaths, and integrated NC code simulation, CNC programs can not only be created more quickly but also reliably transferred to the machine.
The shortage of skilled workers is clearly evident in manufacturing, and this is exactly where modern CAM systems come into play: They take over repetitive programming tasks, giving teams more time to focus on more challenging processes.
Many of our customers have been manufacturing in Hungary for years. That’s why it was clear to us that we wanted to establish a presence there as well. With WESTCAM Kft., we can now support our customers directly on-site and provide them with the same hands-on support for hyperMILL that WESTCAM has been known for over many years.
