This Revit for Architecture Advanced training course is designed for experienced Revit users who want to expand their Revit families specifically to meet their firm’s needs. You will learn the fundamental skills required to create and use BIM-compliant components. Upon completion of this advanced seminar, you will be able to create and parameterize your own complex BIM-compliant families. You will also learn how to apply the properties and parameters of these families with regard to parts lists, labeling, and display options.

- Relationship Between Parameters, Labels, and Tables
- Using Variables/Formulas in Dimensions
- Representation Management (fine, medium, coarse), View Management, and Color Assignment
- Working with Rows Within Families
- Apply Detail Families (Hatching)
Creating Family-Dependent Labels
- Type-Specific Labels
- Using Shared Parameters
Creating Parts Lists That Depend on Family Categories
- Creating and Formatting Tables
- Applying Formulas in Spreadsheets
Creating Header and Page Frames with Functional Content
- Design the table header and index field
- Add New Parameters to the Plan Header
