EcoVadis 2026 – auxalia WESTCAM Group Increases Earnings by 28%

For us, sustainability is an integral part of our corporate development. That is why we have our ESG performance assessed annually by EcoVadis. Today, we are pleased to present an interim report on the sustainability performance of the auxalia WESTCAM Group.

What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most widely recognized platforms for assessing corporate sustainability. Across four key areas—environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement—independent analysts evaluate how a company fulfills its environmental and social responsibilities.

The result is a scorecard with a total score ranging from 0 to 100, which allows for a comparison of a company’s sustainability performance and clearly highlights both its strengths and areas for improvement. In addition, a percentile is reported. It shows how the company ranks compared to all other companies evaluated. The higher the percentile, the higher the company ranks among its peers.

Our result: 59 out of 100 points and an increase of about 28 percent compared to the previous year

In the latest assessment, the auxalia WESTCAM Group scored 59 out of 100 points, placing it in the 48th percentile among all companies assessed by EcoVadis. On the EcoVadis scale, this result clearly falls into the “Good” category and reflects a structured and proactive approach to sustainability with concrete measures addressing the most important issues.

This is the first assessment of the entire auxalia WESTCAM Group. It is a significantly more demanding framework because standards, processes, and key performance indicators must be consistently demonstrated across the entire organization, and despite this expanded scope of the assessment, we have improved by 28 percent.

Here’s How We’ve Improved

This result is the product of focused efforts in several areas.

We have established binding codes of conduct. A corporate code of conduct establishes values such as integrity, transparency, equal opportunity, and ethical business conduct for all employees and managers. A supplier code of conduct requires our business partners to adhere to high standards in the areas of human rights, environmental and climate protection, and fair business practices.

Better benefits and more flexibility for our employees. We have expanded our additional benefits, such as the JobRad program for WESTCAM employees. At the same time, we are offering more flexibility in work schedules so that employees can better tailor their workday to their personal lives.

Measuring our direct and indirect emissions (Scope 1 & 2). Today, we systematically track which greenhouse gases are generated by our own operations. Our Scope 1 emissions of 223 metric tons of CO₂e primarily come from heating, natural gas, and our vehicle fleet. In addition, there are Scope 2 emissions of 54 metric tons of CO₂e from purchased energy, which are comparatively low thanks to a high proportion of renewable electricity. Together, this results in a verified total emissions balance of approximately 277 metric tons of CO₂e. These figures have been independently verified by DEKRA.

Comprehensive tracking of our energy consumption. In addition, we track our total energy consumption across all major locations. This allows us to build the database that is essential for credible climate reporting.

Our next step is bronze

“As good as the current result is, we already have a clear goal in mind. Next year, we’d like to earn the EcoVadis Bronze medal.” Laura Simak, ESG Account Manager at the auxalia WESTCAM Group and responsible for the EcoVadis rating

The Entry-Level Medal is awarded to companies that rank in the top 35% of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis. We are currently at the 48th percentile, just below this threshold, so our goal is within reach.

The key lever lies in expanding our carbon footprint to include Scope 3—that is, the indirect emissions across our entire value chain, from business travel to purchased goods and services to our supply chain. Based on this comprehensive data set, we will define concrete reduction targets and further refine our decarbonization strategy. This will allow us to close the remaining gaps that stand between us and our goal.

Conclusion

From 46 to 59 points—for the first time as a unified group and with a clear roadmap toward Bronze. The auxalia WESTCAM Group has made significant progress in a short time. For us, sustainability is a journey we’re taking step by step, with measurable results, and we’re just getting started.
