Hummingbird Basic Store Management | Advanced
Target group
This training is intended for users of the Hummingbird MES software, employees in production planning and work preparation, department heads, production planners, team and shift leaders, CAM programmers, and machine operators.
Prerequisites
General PC and software skills, basic knowledge of manufacturing processes,
Learning content
Participants will learn how to work with CAM projects in hyperMILL and Hummingbird MES, create digital setup sheets, and analyze manufacturing information. Other topics include system integration, simulation capabilities, electronic work orders, automated project transfer, status tracking, and agile planning boards. The training covers the digital provision of manufacturing information, resource management, document management, and transparent change tracking. A key focus is on the direct transfer of NC programs to CNC machines, as well as ensuring a seamless, paperless workflow.
Working with CAM Projects in hyperMILL and Hummingbird MES
- Digital Creation and Management of Setup Sheets
- Evaluation and Analysis of Manufacturing Information
- Automatic Project Import from hyperMILL
- Real-time status tracking for all CAM projects
- Planning and Allocating Machine Capacity Using the Planning Board
Digital Provision of All Manufacturing Information
- Centralized Document and Resource Management
- Management of NC programs, tool data, and job information
- Transparent Status and Change Tracking
Information Transmission All the Way to the Machine
- Direct Transfer of NC Programs to CNC Machines
- Use of digital documents and viewer files at the machine workstation for a seamless, paperless workflow
Duration: 1 .5 days
IMMEDIATE BENEFITS FOR PRACTICE:
With the knowledge gained, participants can manage CAM projects, NC programs, and tool data centrally and efficiently. They are able to provide manufacturing information entirely digitally and track the status of projects in real time. The integration of hyperMILL and Hummingbird enables a seamless data flow from the CAM system to the machine, thereby reducing setup times and minimizing sources of error. By using the electronic job ticket and automated program transfer, participants ensure a transparent and fast workflow all the way to the machine workstation.
