Target group
The BIM basic knowledge seminar is aimed at anyone who wants to get started with BIM and obtain a recognized BIM certificate. This includes all those involved in construction projects, including building owners and operators.

Learning content
In this BIM training course, you will learn about the BIM methodology with its terminology and roles. The BIM seminar is product-independent and includes the complete content according to buildingSMART/VDI in accordance with the specifications of LOF-bSI-Basis-D and VDI/BS-MT 2552 Sheet 8.1.

You complete the seminar with the buildingSMART exam and receive an internationally recognized BIM certification. The seminar BIM-Coordinator can be optionally supplemented.
We are giving all seminar participants a copy of the book “BIM-Glossary” from buildingSMART. On 142 pages, the BIM glossary offers detailed explanations of terms relating to BIM with appealing examples. Seminar incl. examination fees.

- Understanding of BIM project documents (AIA, BAP …)
- BIM-Roles and tasks
- BIM-Processes, BIM-Objectives and BIM-Application cases
- buildingSMART standards / openBIM
- Model exchange via IFC, MVD and IDM
- Coordination with the BCF format
- National and international standards, guidelines and legal requirements
- Common data environment / project rooms (CDE)
- Online exam according to buildingSMART with certificate
