KTM is Europe’s largest motorcycle manufacturer based in Mattighofen, Upper Austria. As a premium manufacturer of high-performance vehicles for off-road and street use, the demands on the quality of training are also high. A dual academy, part-time studies and a wide range of further training opportunities underline the fact that an apprenticeship at KTM is just the beginning of a career. A new important building block: the CAM software hyperMILL <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KTM has long used the globally established CAD\/CAM software hyperMILL<\/em>for the design and construction of its first-class motorcycles. In future, the powerful functions will also be taught as part of apprentice training. We spoke to Cornelia Nelleskamp<\/strong> and Christian Reindl<\/strong> from KTM’s young talent development program about this. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Due to the advancing digitalization, the demand for qualified young talent in the field of CAD\/CAM programming is rising sharply. This is why KTM has been breaking new ground since the beginning of 2021: apprentices are now also being specifically trained in the leading hyperMILL<\/em>software.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
