CNC code-based simulation for safe and more efficient processes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Increasingly complex components and ever-increasing deadline pressure are forcing manufacturing companies to make optimum use of their machines. Machine downtimes or even costly machine damage, production losses and therefore critical delays must be effectively minimized. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

hyperMILL<\/em>VIRTUAL Machining Center is the CNC simulation in the CAM software hyperMILL.<\/strong> The perfect virtual image of the machine reality is based on real NC data.<\/p>\n\n

Real operation in the Stubai Valley<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The first hyperMILL<\/em>VIRTUAL Machining Center<\/strong> has just been installed at Metall Kofler<\/strong> in Fulpmes\/Tyrol<\/strong>. Kofler specializes in the manufacture of basic tool holders and special tools. The company has a high-quality machine park. Among others with several GROB G350 machines. <\/p>\n\n

The latest machine is equipped with an automation cell. Austria’s first hyperMILL<\/em>VIRTUAL Machining Center<\/strong> was put into operation on this machine. Together with the specialists from OPEN MIND<\/strong> and WESTCAM<\/strong>, a real adjustment of the machine was reproduced. This means that the exact behavior of the machine is mapped in hyperMILL<\/em>. The programs created are simulated on the NC code and checked for collisions. The virtual machine (VM) shortens the run-in time<\/strong> and increases process reliability.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Networking<\/strong> between the machine<\/strong> and hyperMILL<\/em><\/strong> enables unparalleled process control\/optimization<\/strong>: a significant step for Industry 4.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
