This means that callers are not dealing with some call center employee on the other side of the world, but directly with a WESTCAM technician and therefore an expert who deals with the software and hardware on a daily basis and is very familiar with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rainer Weing\u00e4rtner<\/strong> explains: <em>&#8220;We employees in the CAM team share the support service so that everyone provides support for a week approximately every six weeks. As a support employee, that means you&#8217;re working at full capacity. At WESTCAM, someone who contacts support with a problem is not just an anonymous, sequential number, but the person behind it is important: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;We have close contact with many customers &#8211; from training to installation to support, you are often the same technician. Due to the high workload and because there really are experts from the field at the other end of the line, use of the support service is only free of charge with a booked hotline contract. These are problems that they have been working on for eight hours and simply can&#8217;t get any further. The most efficient way is to send a <strong>short e-mail to the general support e-mail address<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rainer Weing\u00e4rtner<\/strong> says: <em>&#8220;If I receive an email with a question and possibly a screenshot, I can look at the problem directly and perhaps even answer the question by email or think it through and then call back.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong> Mario Hinterreiter<\/strong> also explains: <em>&#8220;We have different technicians, not all of whom are always on site: One is with the customer, the other is at a training course&#8230; When the support request comes in by email, you can immediately see who has time and respond more quickly.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-transform:none\">How can support help customers?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-base-color has-accent-2-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-91592f31135f904388c981990d843931 is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">\n<p>No matter how tricky your question is &#8211; the WESTCAM support team has helped every caller!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, the support employee <strong>listens<\/strong> <strong>to <\/strong> <strong>the customer&#8217;s problem<\/strong> and tries to understand it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In most cases, he connects to the <strong>Teamviewer<\/strong>, which allows him to view the customer&#8217;s screen and understand the issue in detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Often the employee also asks the customer <strong>to send<\/strong> him the entire <strong>project or the file<\/strong> so that he can take a closer look at it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For special challenges, the support employee <strong>consults his team<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problems that cannot be solved by WESTCAM are <strong>passed on to the manufacturer.<\/strong> In rare cases, where not only the software but also the hardware is affected, the support staff will visit the customer directly on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the problem has been successfully solved, each support case is stored in the WESTCAM customer database, the <strong>CRM system<\/strong>, where every support employee can later look up whether the problem has already occurred and what the solution was at the time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>WESTCAM support staff are committed to <strong>helping <\/strong>customers <strong>as quickly as possible. <\/strong>The customer is always kept up to date on the progress of their request.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-webx-blocks-grid has-base-2-background-color has-background is-layout-grid wp-container-webx-blocks-grid-is-layout-478b6e6b wp-block-webx-blocks-grid-is-layout-grid\" style=\"--grid-columns-desktop:2;--grid-columns-tablet:2;--grid-columns-mobile:1\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-webx-blocks-grid-item is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-webx-blocks-grid-item-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);--grid-area-desktop:auto \/ auto \/ auto \/ auto;--grid-area-tablet:auto \/ auto \/ auto \/ auto;--grid-area-mobile:auto \/ auto \/ auto \/ auto\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-transform:none\">Who contacts the support team?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bernhard Ruetz<\/strong> says: <em>&#8220;There are certainly customers who call with simple questions. That way, we could organize it a little and help them even faster and more efficiently.&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-transform:none\">Do you
